West Bromwich AlbionThe Hawthorns
Another great Football Aid day, pitch was in immaculate condition and a happy home team ran out 7-1 winners, though it was a close game for the first 60 mins. Top day with some quality lads, thanks to the lads from Italy who came over and were excellent to play alongside once again. Even got an Italian style celebration at the end!Read more
Football Aid 2018
Our 2018 game at The Hawthorns was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to our Baggies fans and a special mention to Graham Williams (Captain of the FA Cup winning team from 1968) and former Baggies player Micky Fudge, who were on hand to Manage the teams and share their experiences.

History & Background
West Brom have been onside from the start, with Cyrille Regis (RIP) and Derek Statham the superstars in stripes leading the way as playing Legends in our 1st ever game in 2001. Since then, the Black Country club have hosted numerous successful events and fellow Baggies Legends including Daryl Burgess, Bob Taylor, Richard Sneekes, Bernard McNally, Graham Williams, Stan Jones, Nicky Cross, Steve MacKenzie, Craig Shakespeare and Ian Hamilton have all had the chance to impart some of their invaluable experience to our lucky players.
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
