FOOTBALL AID 2020
Due to the important health measures currently being taken to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK, and the subsequent impact it has had on the scheduling of the football season across Europe, we were keen to keep our lines of communication open with you in relation to the situation here at Football Aid and our unique Live The Dream events.
We are in regular contact with all of our partner clubs, due to the ongoing situation within the football industry, and the uncertainty surrounding the completion of the 2019/20 Season. We are preparing for the eventuality that our events scheduled for April and May will be rescheduled to a later date, with the distinct possibility that some of the rescheduled dates may now be in 2021. We will of course keep all of our players informed by e-mail in the coming weeks as and when we receive more information from our clubs.
If you have any questions we’re more than happy to advise further, please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org

We look forward to seeing you ‘Live The Dream’ at a Football Aid event in the not too distant future.
This was my first time playing in a Football Aid event and I must say my expectations were exceeded. From the upfront communication through to the set up on the day it felt like a really well run operation. What struck me most was the effort you and the team went to make the day special for each person. I will definitely be re-applying.Read more

EVENT HISTORY & BACKGROUND
We're delighted to announce we'll be hosting our 1st ever match with Walsall FC in Football Aid 2020.
The West Midlands club were founded in 1888 after Walsall Swifts and Walsall Town merged to form Walsall Town Swifts, with the club becoming Walsall FC in 1895. The Saddlers played for over 94 years at Fellows Park before moving to their current home, the Banks's Stadium, in 1990. The 11,300 capacity stadium was officially opened by Sir Stanley Matthews and has hosted England under-21, under-19 and under-17 international matches as well as England women's international matches.
We're extremely excited to have The Saddlers on board and look forward to allowing their fans the chance to Live the Dream at the Banks's Stadium on Friday 15th May 2020.
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
