Player Stories

Great day made even more special with 2 of my sons playing at the same time. Our manager Joe Miller was a credit, and he even came up to my lad at the end of the game and told him he was a good player, which has filled him with great pride and confidence. Great bunch of guys, played in the best of spirit and camaraderie, just like the Celtic family.

About the Auctions

As part of Football Aid's 20 year anniversary celebrations we're giving fans the chance to bid to own a fantastic selection of unique Signed Legends Shirts from the Football Aid games played between 2001-2019.

The vast majority of shirts included in the auction were either 'Match Worn' or 'Signed By' the players at a Football Aid event taking place between 2001-2019. However we also have a small selection of auction items - including Signed Shirts, Signed Balls and Signed Boots - that have been donated to Football Aid over the years that are unrelated to our 'Live the Dream' events. We will include a Football Aid letter, or certificate of authenticity with each auction item to confirm it has been signed by the named player and the item is as described.

Please read the descriptions carefully before placing your bid and see the FAQs section at the bottom of each Team’s auction page for specific auction details.

PASSION FOR FOOTBALL...

The concept of Football Aid is simple - to allow fans - who have only been able to dream about it - the chance to experience the thrill of match day: to pull on their exclusive personalised shirt in the changing rooms, walk down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd, step out onto the hallowed turf and represent their team in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football!

We've been delivering the ultimate in pitch day experiences ever since 2001 and in that time we've allowed over 19,500 football fans the chance to Live the Dream in 738 matches all over the UK, Europe and USA.

...COMPASSION FOR OTHERS

Football Aid was created as a unique way of raising money for charity and voluntary organisations. Through our parent charity, Field of Dreams' multi-beneficiary grant award scheme, the funds raised from the Football Aid events are distributed to Diabetes research and management projects, as well as a wide range of charities and community projects nominated for funding by our partner Clubs and we're extremely proud to have donated over £2.2M+ in charitable grants since 2001.

CHARITIES FUNDED

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
