NOTHING can compare to FOOTBALL AID. The ultimate all-encompassing sensory overload with a ball you I'll ever encounter. I have played football for nearly all of my 55 years and this was by far the best experience ever, I played the whole match with a smile on my face and to do it with my son was just awesome. You guys are the best!Read more
Football Aid 2018
Our 2018 game at Bramall Lane was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to our Blades fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and Legends Tony Currie, Kevin Gage and Ritchie Humphrey for their fantastic support on the night.

History & Background
The first ever Sheffield United Football Aid event took place at Bramall Lane on the 5th May 2002 with club Legends Kevin Gage and Tony Agana playing alongside the excited fans involved. Successful events continued to be held at Bramall Lane up until 2008 and a host of former Blades including Carl Bradshaw, Brian Gayle, Ted Hemsley, Len Badger and Paul Beesley all showed their support in the intervening years.
After a break of 4 years we were delighted to announce the club's return to the fold for Football Aid 2013 and thanks to the fantastic support of the club we've been privileged to have Legends like Tony Currie, Ted Hemsley, Len Badger, Carl Bradshaw, Peter Duffield, David Holdsworth, Georges Santos, Alan Quinn, Ritchey Humphreys, Kevin Gage and Mark Todd involved in our games since.
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
