Thank you for a brilliant day at Rotherham United. One of the best games I have played in.

Brilliant to catch up with a lot of old friends again.

Football Aid 2019

Our 1st ever Rotherham United match took place at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tue 21st May 2019.

We were privileged to have Millers Legends Chris Sedgwick and Andy Monkhouse playing alongside the fans and it was Andy's Away team who came out on top 3-1 after a couple of wonder goals from their MOTM Jason Guy!

HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Our 1st ever game with Rotherham United took place at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tue 21st May 2019 and we were privileged to have the support of Millers Legends Chris Sedgwick and Andy Monkhouse who played alongside and Managed the teams on the night.

In the end Andy's Away team just edged a very close contest game 3-1, with a couple of wonder goals from their MOTM Jason Guy proving the difference on the night!

After the success of our 2019 event we look forward to offering Millers fans the chance to Live the Dream at the AESSEAL New York Stadium again in 2020.

CHARITIES FUNDED

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
