Player Stories

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. You guys organising did a fantastic job, even the people that came to watch me had great fun too. I definitely intend to get involved again, one of the other players said this can be addictive and I can see how!

Football Aid 2018

Our 2018 game at Meadow Lane was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our players for their excellent efforts on the pitch.

You can check out Match Reports below and take a look at official photographs in our Image Gallery.

History & Background

We were delighted when the Magpies confirmed they would be able to host their 1st ever Football Aid game in Football Aid 2017 and the match on Tue 9th May was a huge success, with both sets of players thoroughly enjoying the historic occasion.

We were privileged to have the support of County Legends Les Bradd, Brian Bates & Mark Stallard on the day and you can click here to watch a fantastic interview with Les, talking about his time at the club where he went on to become Notts County's all-time leading goalscorer.

The club also hosted a follow up game on 26th May 2018, with the Home team running out 4-2 winners.

CHARITIES FUNDED

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
