Hibernian FC haven't been able to host a Football Aid game since 2015, however we're keen to work with the club again and remain hopeful they might be able to host our events again in the coming seasons. Football Aid 2015

Our 2015 game at Easter Road was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to our Hibs fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and Legends Ian Murray, Kevin Harper and Rob Jones who were on hand to play in the game and share their expert experience.

You can check out Match Reports below and see official photographs in our Image Gallery.

History & Background

Hibs joined the Football Aid family in 2001 and the Edinburgh club initialy hosted a number of hugely successful events up until 2006. Legends involved in those early games included Keith Wright, Mickey Weir, Gordon Hunter and Gareth Evans on the playing side and Managers Lawrie Reilly (RIP), Jimmy O'Rourke and Tommy Preston.

Thanks to the fantastic support of the club and the Hibernian Community Foundation we were able to make our return to Easter Road on Sun 26th April 2015. The game featured Legends Ian Murray, Rob Jones and Kevin Harper and proved to be a great success with all the fans fortunate enough to play alongside the former Hibs heroes.

Charities funded

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
