About the Auctions

Following the Heads Up Weekend matches, teams from across the Premier League and the English Football League (EFL) have kindly donated their match-worn shirts to the Heads Up campaign in order for them to be auctioned off to raise much-needed funds for the charity partners.

The majority of the shirts have the unique ‘Heads Up’ logo on the front or the sleeve. These shirts were created for the Heads Up Weekends matches only, and are either match-worn or were issued to players for these matches. Most of the shirts are signed and will come with a copy of their letter or certificate of authenticity. Please read the descriptions carefully before placing your bid and see the FAQs section at the bottom of each Team’s auction page for specific auction details.

About Heads Up

Heads Up is a partnership between Heads Together and The FA, spearheaded by The Duke of Cambridge, aiming to start the biggest ever conversation on mental health through football. Football is our national game – watched, loved, played and supported by millions in the UK.

Following these unprecedented times and a season unlike any other, talking about our mental health has never been more important. Heads Up aims to help people feel as comfortable talking about mental health as they are talking about football. The campaign will culminate at the Heads Up FA Cup Final on 1st August, sending a clear message about the importance of mental health to millions of football fans.

Earlier this season, the Heads Up Weekends highlighted the power of talking as a way to support one another. Campaign activity took place at fixtures across the Premier League, English Football League, The National League, The Barclays Women’s Super League, The FA Women’s Championship and The FA Women’s National League. The participating clubs displayed the Heads Up emblem across stadiums, programmes and players' kits, in a major unifying moment that aimed to get the nation talking about mental health.

Charity Partners

95% of the proceeds from the Heads Up shirt auctions will go towards raising vital funds to support the activities of the Heads Up campaign charity partners. The funds raised will be shared equally between the Heads Up charity partners: Heads Together, the mental health programme of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (registered charity number 1132048); Mind (National Association of Mental Health) (registered charity number 219830); and Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) (registered charity numbers 1110621 and SC044347). The remaining 5% will be retained by Football Aid to cover the cost of hosting the auctions.
