Due to the important health measures currently being taken to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK, and the subsequent impact it has had on the scheduling of the English football season, Derby County FC have informed us that they have taken the decision to postpone the 2020 Football Aid event at Pride Park.

We will be in regular contact with the club to discuss all possible dates for the re-arranged game, and we will of course keep all our players informed by e-mail in the coming weeks as we receive more information from the club. Due to the ongoing situation within the football industry, and the uncertainty surrounding the completion of the 2019/20 Season, it may well be the case that the rearranged date will be in 2021.

If you weren't able to secure a position originally and would like to receive updates about the re-scheduled game, then please e-mail us at

Player Stories

I just wanted to say thanks again for an amazing experience put on by your team. It was my first experience of playing football at a professional stadium and it was absolutely incredible... a day I really will never forget. The whole experience was a pleasure, from signing up for the day to the organisation of shirts to the actual match day. It was very hard to fault!

Football Aid 2019

Our 2019 game at Pride Park was another hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to our Rams fans for their excellent efforts and Legends Roy McFarland, Roger Davies, Marc Edworthy and Shane Nicholson for their fantastic support on the day.

History & Background

The Rams took part in our first two seasons in 2001 and 2002, with the highly successful matches featuring club legends Roger Davies, Kevin Hector, Willie Carlin and David Nish. After a break for a few years we were very excited to welcome the club back on board in 2009 and as well as the returning Roger Davies we've been extremely fortunate to have the support of a host of club Legends like Roy McFarland, Marc Edworthy, Michael Johnson, Robert Kozluk, Lee Carsley, Dick Pratley, Phil Gee, Archie Gemmill and Dave Mackay (RIP) in the years since.

Our games at Pride Park are organised in association with the Derby County Community Trust and we're extremely privileged to have their valuable support.

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
