Player Stories

It has been a fantastic experience. Perfect organization and excellent staff who do great work.

Find your kit in the dressing room, walk on to the field with "Glad All Over" playing and score in front of the Holmesdale Stand, it was unbelievable.

FOOTBALL AID 2019

Our 2019 game at Selhurst Park was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our Eagles fans for their excellent efforts on the hallowed turf.

Visit our Newsroom to see Match Reports, Player Stories and a Gallery of Images from our previous Crystal Palace games.

HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The Eagles were a popular signing for Football Aid in 2002 and the games we've hosted at Selhurst Park have been hugely enjoyable, attracting the support of several club heroes over the years.

Steve Kember and Terry Bullivant recreated their management partnership in the 2003 event, while the club's all time appearance record holder Jim Cannon pitted his wits against Dougie Freedman in 2006 and former assistant manager Kit Symons made his debut appearance Managing the Away team in our 2009 event.

After a break for a few years we were extremely excited to be able to make our return to Selhurst Park on Tue 28th May 2019!

CHARITIES FUNDED

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
