Great day made even more special with 2 of my sons playing at the same time. Our manager Joe Miller was a credit, and he even came up to my lad at the end of the game and told him he was a good player, which has filled him with great pride and confidence. Great bunch of guys, played in the best of spirit and camaraderie, just like the Celtic family.Read more
Football Aid 2018
Our 2018 games at Celtic Park were hugely enjoyable events as usual and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our Celtic fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and Legends Danny McGrain, Joe Miller and Shaun Maloney for their fantastic support on the day.

History & Background
Celtic were the 1st club to sign up with Football Aid and with the Glasgow giant's support, other clubs were quick to follow suit, with 47 games played in 45 Clubs around the UK in our debut season in 2001! Prominent Diabetes campaigner and Scotland legend Danny McGrain is the Club's Ambassador, as well as Football Aid's Vice Patron, and over the years, thanks to his endless passion for our cause, we've been able to call on a who's who of Celtic Legends, with the likes of Paul Lambert, Neil Lennon, Joe Miller, Tom Boyd, Andy Walker, Darren Jackson, Tosh McKinlay, Bobby Petta, George McCluskey, John Kennedy and Mark Burchill all playing in our games, while Billy McNeill, Bertie Auld and Bobby Lennox have all relished their roles as Managers.
Our games at Celtic Park are organised in association with the Celtic FC Foundation and we're extremely privileged to have their valuable support.
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
