Thanks again, it's not only living out my dream but the money raised goes to some amazing causes which is important too. The whole day is so well organised and made easy for us players and I appreciate all the effort your team put in.

Football Aid 2019

Our 2019 game at St Andrew's was another hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to our Blues fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and club Legend Lee Carsley who was on hand to play in the game and share his expert experience.

Visit our Newsroom to see Match Reports, Player Stories and a Gallery of Images from our previous Birmingham City games.

The Blues signed up to host their 1st game in 2002 and they've been hosting top class Football Aid events at St Andrew's ever since. Thanks to the fantastic support of their former player's association we've had a huge number of club Legends involved and our fans have been fortunate to play alongside and be Managed by the likes of Darren Carter, Kevan Broadhurst, Geoff Horsfield, Nicky Eaden, Ian Atkins, Maik Taylor, Jeff Kenna, Ian Clarkson, Martin O'Connor, Kevin Poole, Dean Holtham, Kevin Francis, Joe Gallagher, Noel Blake, Graham Hyde, Jerry Gill, Robert Hopkins and Dele Adebola.

Our games at St Andrew's are organised in association with the BCFC Community Trust and we're extremely privileged to have their valuable support.

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
