Football Aid 2016
Our 2016 game at Villa Park was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our Villa fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and a special thanks to former club hero Martin Laursen who played for the Home team and shared his expert experience with the fans.

History & Background
Aston Villa FC signed up in our very 1st season and in the years following that debut game in 2001 they have been fantastic supporters of Football Aid, with our games at Villa Park featuring a host of club greats over the years.
With the invaluable support of the club's Former Players Association we were able to secure the likes of Tony Morley, Gordon Cowans, Shaun Teale, Pat Heard, Colin Gibson, Mark Kinsella, Gary Shaw, Paul Birch, Chris Nicholl, Charlie Aitken, Ian "Chico" Hamilton, Des Bremner, Mark Burke, Tony Daley, Garry Thompson, John Deehan, Martin Carruthers, Mark Walters, Bryan Small and Gavin McCann to take part in our games and former club captain and Danish International Martin Laursen even flew in to play for the Home team in 2014 and 2016!
We're very excited to announce the club recently signed up to host 2 x Football Aid games at Villa Park on Wed 29th May 2019!
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
