What are you fundraising for?
95% of the proceeds from the Heads Up shirt auctions will go towards raising vital funds to support the activities of the Heads Up campaign charity partners. The funds raised will be shared equally between the Heads Up charity partners: Heads Together, the mental health programme of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (registered charity number 1132048); Mind (National Association of Mental Health) (registered charity number 219830); and Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) (registered charity numbers 1110621 and SC044347). The remaining 5% will be retained by Football Aid to cover the cost of hosting the auctions.
Heads Up is a campaign co-ordinated by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (registered charity no. 1132048 and company no. 07033553) and its wholly owned subsidiary, TRF Trading Ltd (company number 07506603), both registered in England and Wales at Kensington Palace, Palace Green, London W8 4PU.
Why are there two shirts listed for the same player?
In some cases, there are two match worn shirts for the same player. The reason for this is that the player has changed their shirt at half-time and has donated both shirts to the auction.
I cannot find a certain club on your website, have you got those shirts?
We have listed all the shirts we have kindly received. If you cannot find the team or player you wish to purchase, it may be that we did not receive that shirt. Also, some of the shirts may have already been auctioned off and will be listed as ‘auction ended’.
Will you include a certificate of authenticity?
During the Heads Up campaign, we have worked closely with the Premier League and the EFL on our activities and can therefore guarantee that all the shirts are 100% genuine from the clubs and the players. Most clubs have also supplied a letter or certificate of authenticity, and we will send a copy of this to everyone who purchases a shirt. For details of whether this will be included, please read the description below your chosen shirt.
Why are there only a few shirts listed under my club?
Some clubs involved in the auction have only been able to donate a limited number of items to the auction. We are very grateful to the clubs across the Premier League and the EFL for everything they have done to support the Heads Up campaign.
Why aren’t all the shirts signed?
Most of the clubs have sent their shirts signed; however, due to timings it may not always have been possible to get each player to sign their shirt. Please ensure you have read the individual shirt page properly to know what condition the shirt is in.
Why aren’t all the shirts washed?
Where the shirt is listed as ‘match worn’, they have been worn by your favourite players during the matches from the Heads Up Weekends. Some of the shirts have been donated straight after the match and others have been washed before being sent on. The condition of the individual shirts will be specified on the auction listing.
Other shirts have been listed as ‘player issue’ and this means that either the player was not brought onto the pitch, or perhaps was not in the line-up for that match. These shirts may also have been washed or left unwashed, so please check the detail on the listing.
Can you ship outside the United Kingdom?
Yes, we can, but please allow extended time for your shirts to be shipped; and also be aware that you may incur a customs charge for which The Royal Foundation and Football Aid are not responsible for in your designated country of delivery. For each purchase, the postage fee is added at a fixed rate of £10 (this appears as a shirt printing fee). If you require your shirt to be shipped internationally, we will be in touch to collect an extra payment of £25 in order to cover the additional costs.
Thank you so much again for your kind support!
