We're very keen to host a game with Leeds United again in 2020, however we've been told by the club it might be January-February before they'll know if they're able host a game at the end of the season.

This year's players will usually receive 1st notification by e-mail when we get news of positions going on sale, so if you didn't play in 2019 and would like to be notified when we launch, make sure and REGISTER on the website or e-mail us at info@footballaid.com with details of the games you're interested in.

Player Stories

Leeds was great, they really looked after us all. Pitch was in fantastic condition and good to see a few of the regulars again, really entertaining game as well.

They gave us a really nice suite for the presentations and the buffet afterwards was very very nice.

Football Aid 2019

Our 2019 game at Elland Road was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our Leeds United players for their excellent efforts on the pitch.

History & Background

Leeds United were one of the 1st teams to host a Football Aid Event in 2001 and we hosted a series of hugely enjoyable events with the club up until 2007. In those years our fans were fortunate to play alongside and be managed by a number of club Legends, including John McClelland, Brendan Ormsby, Gavin Oliver, John Francis and Mick Ferguson.

After a break of a few years we were delighted to make a return to Elland Road on Monday 20th May 2019.

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
