FOOTBALL AID 2020
Due to the important health measures currently being taken to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK, and the subsequent impact it has had on the scheduling of the football season across Europe, we were keen to keep our lines of communication open with you in relation to the situation here at Football Aid and our unique Live The Dream events.
We are in regular contact with all of our partner clubs, due to the ongoing situation within the football industry, and the uncertainty surrounding the completion of the 2019/20 Season. We are preparing for the eventuality that our events scheduled for April and May will be rescheduled to a later date, with the distinct possibility that some of the rescheduled dates may now be in 2021. We will of course keep all of our players informed by e-mail in the coming weeks as and when we receive more information from our clubs.
If you have any questions we’re more than happy to advise further, please e-mail: email@example.com

History & Background
Our 1st ever Tyne-Wear Derby was played at The Stadium of Light on Sun 19th May 2019, with the match giving fans of Sunderland and Newcastle United the unique opportunity to pull on their club's shirt and play against their biggest rivals!
The game was keenly contested, but played in a great spirit throughout and it was the Home fans who had the most to cheer after witnessing a comfortable win for Darren Holloway's Sunderland team in the glorious morning sunshine.
Due to the huge success of this year's game we're hoping to arrange another Tyne-Wear Derby game in Football Aid 2020.
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
