Our most recent Newcastle United game was due to be played at St. James' Park on Friday 29th May 2020), however it had to be re-scheduled due to the Covid-19 restrictions in the UK.

We remain in communication with the club as we look to confirm a re-scheduled date for our game and as soon as we get an update we'll e-mail all our players and post full details here. Selected positions are likely to be made available again when the game is re-arranged and you can see full details on the Newcastle Game 1 page in the Upcoming Fixtures.

Football Aid 2016

Our 2016 game at St James' Park was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our Magpies fans for their excellent efforts on the hallowed turf.

You can check out Match Reports from our previous games below and official photographs in our Image Gallery.

Background & History

Newcastle United joined the Football Aid family in 2001 and soon afterwards we were honoured to announce their Manager at the time - Sir Bobby Robson - would be our 1st ever Patron. The ex-England Manager was a massive influence in our early growth and Sir Bobby even found time in his incredibly busy schedule to make a surprise appearance at our 2003 game! The hugely popular local hero went on to create the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and received a number of posthumous honours when he passed away in 2009.

Over the years we've also been extremely fortunate to have the support of a number of other Magpies Legends, with Peter Beardsley, Bobby Moncur, Mick Martin, Kenny Wharton, John Anderson, John Carver, Alan Shoulder, Joe Allon and Ian Bogie all helping to thrill the ever excitable St James' faithful with their presence at our games.

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
