Football Aid 2020

Manchester City weren't able to host a Football Aid game in seasons 2018 and 2019, however we're very keen to work with the club again and remain hopeful we might be able to host another event in association with City in the Community soon.

If you'd like to receive e-mail updates about our Man City games then make sure and REGISTER on the website or e-mail us at with details of the games you're interested in.

Football Aid 2017

Our 2017 game at the Etihad was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to our City fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and a special thanks to Legends Colin Hendry, Richard Wright and Fran for their fantastic support on the night.

You can check out Match Reports from our Man City games below and see official photographs in our Image Gallery.

History & Background

Two years after our debut event at Maine Road in 2001, the Football Aid 2003 games marked an end of an era, with our City fans being amongst the last ever to play at the famous stadium.

The following year we made our debut at the magnificent City of Manchester Stadium (now known as the Etihad Stadium) with Mike Summerbee, Fred Ayre, Peter Barnes & Gary Owen Managing the lucky supporters involved and in the years since we've been fortunate to have the support of fellow City Legends Colin Hendry, David White, Ian Brightwell, David Brightwell, Richard Wright, Fran, Paul Simpson, Mike Sheron, Andy Hinchcliffe, Peter Barnes, Kenny Clements, Andy May, Ian Scott, Neil Pointon, Richard Edgehill, Eric Nixon, Jason Beckford and Mike Doyle (RIP).

Due to building work at the Etihad our fans even got the unique opportunity to play at the brand new City Football Academy in May 2015.

Our games are organised thanks to the fantastic support of City in the Community and it's a privilege to work with them in our fundraising efforts.

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
