Football Aid 2021

Our Liverpool 2021 match was played at Anfield on Monday 31st May 2021. The game was another hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our Liverpool fans for their excellent efforts on the pitch and club Legend Alan Kennedy who was on hand to play in the game and share his expert experience.

We hope to make positions for Football Aid 2022 available in November 2021 and this year's players would usually receive 1st notification by e-mail when they go live. If you didn't play this season and would like to be notified when our games go live then make sure and REGISTER NOW or e-mail us at info@footballaid.com with details of the games you're interested in.

The Football Aid experience includes -

  • Pull on your official LFC kit in the changing rooms.
  • Walk down the tunnel onto the Anfield pitch and play a 90min game on the hallowed turf.
  • Enjoy Post-Match hospitality in a Premium Lounge.
  • Attend a Stadium Tour conducted by an LFC tour guide after the game.

Player Stories

I just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic experience I had playing at Anfield - it was an unbelievable day and all for a fantastic cause. The hospitality provided by you, your team and the club was first class and is something my family and I will always remember (my wife is now a football fan!).

HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Starting in season 2001 Liverpool FC hosted a series of world-class Football Aid events, with the lucky fans involved gaining the unique opportunity to get changed in the legendary dressing rooms, walk down the famous old tunnel, perform the emotional ritual of touching the 'This is Anfield' sign, before striding out onto the world famous Anfield turf and playing for The Reds.

The fans also had the privilege of playing alongside and being managed by a who's who of former players, with the likes of Alan Kennedy, Jan Molby, John Aldridge, John Barnes, Jim Beglin, Howard Gayle, Gary McAllister, Jason McAteer, Mark Wright, Brian Hall (RIP), Phil Neal, David Fairclough, Rob Jones, David Johnson, Michael Thomas and John Durnin all involved in our games over the years.

Our games at Anfield are organised in association with Liverpool FC Foundation and we're extremely privileged to have their valuable support.

CHARITIES FUNDED

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
