FOOTBALL AID 2019

HISTORY & BACKGROUND
The Eagles were a popular signing for Football Aid in 2002 and the games we've hosted at Selhurst Park have been hugely enjoyable, attracting the support of several club heroes over the years.
Steve Kember and Terry Bullivant recreated their management partnership in the 2003 event, while the club's all time appearance record holder Jim Cannon pitted his wits against Dougie Freedman in 2006 and former assistant manager Kit Symons made his debut appearance Managing the Away team in our 2009 event.
After a break for a few years we were extremely excited to be able to make our return to Selhurst Park on Tue 28th May 2019!
Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
