It was a warm and dry evening as the Rovers fans took to the Ewood Park pitch for our 2015 game, and there was an extra special surprise for them when they marched onto the pitch, with the Premier League Trophy on display to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club’s title winning season.
Our 2nd Football Aid Italia Derby della Lanterna, was the 4th and final game of the weekend at Genoa's Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The format of the game was Sampdoria (Home) vs Genoa (Away) and the match itself was a derby day to remember for the Away side, with the Grifone eventually ending up 3-12 winners, despite the 1st half being fairly even!

Our 1st ever Sampdoria Football Aid Italia match took place at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sun 24th May at 11am and was a huge success. The format of the game was Sampdoria (Home) vs Sampdoria (Away) and the extremely close match lived up to it's billing with some great goals and plenty of action besides.

It was beautiful afternoon for the 2nd game of the day at Celtic Park, which was also the final game of Football Aid 2014. The two well matched teams of Celtic fans went on to produce an extremely exciting and close game of football that was certainly a more than fitting end to the season.
It was a bright and clear day at Celtic Park for the final matchday of the Football Aid 2014 season. The 1st game of the day looked to be heading for a comfortable win for the Celtic Home side at half time; however the 2nd half proved to be much tighter, with both teams getting amongst the goals.
The 2014 Football Aid fixture at the iPro stadium was one of the closest Football Aid matches all season. Throughout the game, both sides kept those watching on the edge of their seats, frustrating them at times with chances that came so close.
The weather had been dull and damp all day and things hadn't changed by the time the 3rd Football Aid game at Anfield kicked off. However the poor weather did nothing to dampen the mood at the ground as the players were greatly looking forward to being able to play on such an historic ground as Anfield.
The 2nd Football Aid 2014 fixture at Anfield was a very close match, dominated by both sets of defenders and their keepers. As the players found out, the only way to defeat these strong walls was to score stunning strikes and that is what those watching were treated to, with all the goals worthy of Goal of the Season.
