  • Everton Game 2 2016

    Our 2nd Everton game of the day at Goodison Park serbed up a real treat for our Football Aid players, with 7 Everton Legends all involved in the game, enough for a pretty special 7-aside team! Inspired by the host of Playing Legends and Managers, our Football Aid players played out a thrilling high scoring game, which ended 8-4 to the Home side.

  • Everton Game 1 2016

    Tuesday 24th May was a big day for the Football Aid team with 2 x Everton games and an England vs Italy International all scheduled to take place at the iconic Goodison Park. The 1st of 3 games certainly didn’t disappoint, with the Toffees fans witnessing a thrilling, high scoring 3-6 game, played in glorious late spring sunshine.

  • Middlesbrough 2016

    A glorious Monday evening awaited the Football Aid team and players at the Premier League’s newest team Middlesbrough’s fantastic Riverside Stadium. A thrilling end-to-end game awaited us with the Boro Home team running out 8-3 victors against a strong Away side.

  • Hearts 2016

    It was a privilege to make our return to Tynecastle for our 2016 game, with both sets of Hearts fans excited to be gracing the hallowed turf again. The game itself was a thrilling affair, with the determined Home side battling all the way against an on-form Away side.

  • Chesterfield 2016

    Friday 20th May went down as a historic date in the Football Aid history books for Spireites fans, as we hosted our first ever game at Chesterfield FC’s Proact Stadium. An action packed game resulted in the Away side winning 2-9 on the evening against a strong Home side.

  • Celtic Game 2 2016

    The 2nd of our two games at Celtic Park exhibited a great attacking performance by the Away side, which saw them come out on top 0-8 against a spirited Home side, under the watchful eye of Celtic Legends Danny McGrain and Joe Miller.

  • Celtic Game 1 2016

    Scottish Champions Celtic FC hosted the 1st of our 2 annual games at the world famous Celtic Park stadium at 10am on Thursday 19th May and the Hoops players certainly served up an action packed encounter for those fans lucky enough to witness it, with the Away team winning 1-4 in the end.

  • West Ham Game 2 2016

    Our 2nd game of the day, and last ever Football Aid game at the Boleyn Ground, was another emotional one for the fans involved and there were definitely a few tears shed at the end, as the Hammers fans said goodbye to the much loved ground that had been West Ham United’s home for 112 years.

  • West Ham Game 1 2016

    The 1st of our 2 games at the Boleyn Ground promised to be an emotional occasion for all the Hammers fans involved as it gave them a unique opportunity to say goodbye to the famous Boleyn Ground one last time. The players certainly lived up to the occasion and served up a treat for the fans cheering them on in the stands.

  • Norwich City 2016

    A warm and sunny Carrow Road was the venue for our next Football Aid game, and it was certainly a real thrill for our players when they learned that Canaries Legends Grant Holt and Adam Drury would be gracing the hallowed turf alongside them! The match itself was a thriller right to the end and finished with the Away team just edging the win 4-5.
