  • Norwich City 2016

A warm and sunny Carrow Road was the venue for our next Football Aid game, and it was certainly a real thrill for our players when they learned that Canaries Legends Grant Holt and Adam Drury would be gracing the hallowed turf alongside them! The match itself was a thriller right to the end and finished with the Away team just edging the win 4-5.

  • Sporting CP 2016

The magnificent 5 star rated Estádio José Alvalade, which has been the host of UEFA Cup finals and Euro 2004 games in recent years, was the perfect setting for a close-fought game between our two Sporting Clube de Portugal teams on the evening of Sat 14th May.

  • Man City Game 2 2016

When a big event falls on Friday the 13th it would usually be seen as an unlucky omen….But that wasn’t the case for our Football Aid players as they got to Live the Dream in our 2nd Manchester City game of the season at the impressive Etihad Stadium! It was a great occasion for all involved, with the impressive Away team taking the honours on the night 2-9 in a high-paced goal filled game.

  • Man City Game 1 2016

Our Manchester City games at the Etihad Stadium were spread over two nights this year and the 1st encounter took place at the recently expanded stadium on Thursday 12th May 2016. Game 1 provided plenty of entertainment for the watching fans in the stands and despite the efforts of a strong Home side ended in a comfortable 0-5 win for the impressive Away team.

  • Leicester City 2016

There was an extra special atmosphere on Thu 12th May 2016, as our Leicester City players got the opportunity to step out onto the same award winning King Power turf that only 5 days before had been the setting for Leicester City FC to be crowned Premier League Champions!

  • Blackburn Rovers 2016

Our 2016 game at Ewood Park was originally set to take place in late April, however due to an unseasonal snow shower the game was re-arranged for Tue 10th May and the Rovers fans in attendance were delighted that temperatures were a bit more Spring-like for their big game!

  • Bolton Wanderers 2016

A wet night was in-store for our players on the evening of Tuesday 10th May with the rain falling steadily at Bolton Wanderers’ Macron Stadium. However the Trotters players didn’t let the weather affect their performance and they put on a high-scoring show for the spectators with the Away team winning 4-7 in a close game.

  • England vs Scotland 2016

A damp Tuesday morning awaited us in Milton Keynes as the impressive stadiummk, usually home to Milton Keynes Dons, played host to our inaugural England vs Scotland International.

  • Aston Villa 2016

One of the UK’s most famous and iconic stadiums, Villa Park, hosted our annual Aston Villa game on the morning of Wed 25th May and our Villa fans certainly lived up to their grand surroundings, serving up a hugely entertaining 4-4 draw played out in a mixture of weather conditions throughout the afternoon.

  • QPR Game 2 2016

The 2nd of our QPR games at Loftus Road, home of “The Hoops” saw the players play out a thrilling 6-6 draw in completely different weather conditions to the early afternoon game.
