Quotes from the day:
.

“Thanks to you and your team for helping me to fulfil my dream. The organisation on the day was first class and my family were particularly impressed by the facilities and whole ethos of the event. I managed 80 minutes in total, which for the oldest man on the pitch (49) was an achievement in itself. Although our team lost 5-2 we were 1-0 up at half time and age I think caught up on us in the second half - that + their centre forward who was exceptionally quick, skilful turned the match. I will certainly encourage my younger friends to play next year - it was a fantastic day for me and exceeded my expectations. Please pass on my thanks. Peter Clarke - Home no 10”

“Another Fantastic Day Courtesy of Football Aid... The Feeling of winning was great and with another Football Aid Goal it rounded off a great day. Highlights had to be the stadium tour. Stewart was once again a fantastic face of football aid as ever. And of course my goal!!! And a 5-2 away team win! Graham No 7 Away.”

“An excellent day, and as usual extremely well organized. Aches and pains are now starting to kick in, and every single one of them is a reminder of a superb experience. (Karl)”
