Quotes from the day were:

“My family and I had a fantastic day. Meeting and playing with my old heroes was a brilliant experience. The organisation of the match was first class and I could not think of one idea that could have made the day better. I would hope to repeat the experience again. Many Thanks Bugsy”

“' Sign me up for next year' What an amazing day, excellent in every respect, thoroughly enjoyed, not just by myself and the other players, but by the whole family who came along to cheer. The football aid team were brilliant, and the pros; Clive, Jason and Gary really did there bit to make it a special occasion. I was lucky enough to score the opener for the away team, my personal dream now a reality. I understand that the money raised was around £50 k, what an achievement, give yourselves a big pat on the back. Regards Tony Davies Director “

“I would like to say thank you to you and all that had something to do with the match at Stamford Bridge on the 21st May. The day was out of this world and I could have never imagined it to be as good as it was. It was a dream come true for me and I suspect everyone that played. I hope that football aid continues in letting people live out their dreams. Many, many thanks George Panayiotou”
