    It was a pleasant evening as 28 excited Owls fans arrived at Hillsborough clutching their kit bags and raring to go. Despite the excitement, there was some amount of nerves as they were preparing to make their debuts in a fully officiated game with Football Aid.

    The weather was not ideal for a footballing debut, as 30 excited West Ham fans arrived at Upton Park to play in their Football Aid game.

    No-one could have predicted the eventual outcome of this match at Leicester City FC played in the torrential rain. As it kicked off, the play was lively and well balanced, but the Home team soon stepped up a gear and took control of the show.

    It was a cloudy, wet day in Sheffield, when 28 excited United fans arrived at Bramall Lane. There were a mixture of nerves and anticipation, as they were waiting to take part in the Football Aid game, and make their debut for Sheffield United.

    Two games took place at Goodison on Friday - one kicking off at 2pm and the other starting at 6pm.

    Graeme Sharp and Ian Snodin captained the two teams in the opening contest, with Sharpy's side wearing the new blue home strip and Snods eleven wearing the new amber away kit.

    Thirty excited Queens Park Rangers fans arrived at Loftus Road on Thursday 15 May for the Football Aid event and were delighted to be playing in the presence of Gavin Peacock and Phil Parkes. Their presence was an extra delight to the players, judging by the number of photos that were taken and autographs that they were both signing.

    Thirty dedicated Manchester City fans arrived at Maine Road, for a last chance to play on the “hallowed” turf with Football Aid. Despite the nerves, there was great excitement about the dream that these thirty fans were about to live!

    The heavy amount of rain almost put an end to the Football Aid game at The Valley before it even started, but thankfully it stopped for long enough to play a game.
