Football Aid teamed up with Wrigley's Extra to organise our 1st ever Women's match in 2009, with the match taking place at Everton's Goodison Park on the 21st May. The match featured stars from Hollyoaks, members of the Everton Ladies team as well as winners from the Wrigley's Extra 90+ Competition, with the teams being Managed by International stars Teddy Sheringham and Pat Nevin. The event was a great success, with the highly entertaining match featuring a host of goals and some excellent goalmouth action, and even a contender for our Goal of the Season from Blackburn Rovers' Lauren Walker! We look forward to exploring the opportunity of hosting similar matches in future years.
