EVENT HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Thursday the 2nd April 2009 will see the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Football Aid history, with our first ever Wales International match due to take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. This is just our 2nd International event following on from our Scotland event at Hampden and it provides Welsh football fans with the unrivalled opportunity to represent their country at their national stadium. The event format will involve a Wales International Home Team taking on a Rest of the World Away team, meaning that the chance to take part in this exciting event at the world famous Millennium stadium is available for all our supporters.
