CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The inaugural Portsmouth Football Aid match took place in season 2009, with Pompey fans delighted to have the opportunity to Live the Dream at the iconic old Fratton Park stadium. The match itself took place on the 23rd May and featured club legends Alan Knight, Martin Kuhl, Micky Birmingham and Mark Chamberlain. Since then the club have continued to get right behind the event with legends Linvoy Primus and Paul Hardyman also lending their support.

SEASON 2012 UPDATE

At this time the club have indicated that because of stadium and pitch work scheduled for the end of the season it might not be possible for them to host an event at Fratton Park in 2012. However discussions are continuing with the club and if there are any positive developments we'll post any news updates on this page.
