Nottingham Forest joined the Football Aid family in 2001 and hosted events at the City Ground up until 2004. In that period we were lucky enough to have some fantastic club Legends involved, including John McGovern, Archie Gemmill, Chris Fairclough and Ian Bowyer. After a 6 year break we were delighted that the club was able to return to the Football Aid fold in 2010 and the match was certainly worth the wait. It took place on the 13th May, featured Forest legends Frank Wignall, Steve Hodge, Peter Grummitt and Craig Armstrong and was only decided by a nailbiting sudden death penalty shoot-out, with the Home team prevailing 5-4 in the end!
