CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Hibernian FC joined the Football Aid family in 2001, and continued to host events until 2004, Legends involved in those early games included Keith Wright, Mickey Weir, Gordon Hunter and Gareth Evans on the playing side and Lawrie Reilly, Jimmy O'Rourke and Tommy Preston who all Managed at our games. Season 2006 marked the successful return of Hibernian to the fold in what proved to be a highly enjoyable game at Easter Road.

2008 EVENT UPDATE

Hibernian FC have not yet confirmed their participation in the Football Aid 2009 programme of events. We are hoping to conduct further negotiations with the Club in the coming weeks with regards to organising an Event at Easter Road.
