CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The Owls joined the Football Aid family in 2001 and have continued to host highly successful events at Hillsborough ever since. The list of Legends that have turned out to play over the years includes David Hirst, John Sheridan, Phil King, John Pearson, Lawrie Madden, Chris Turner, Mel Sterland, Greg Fee, Dave Reeves, Terry Curran and Mark Smith. A real treat was in store for our players in the 2007 game at Hillsborough, as the first team Management Team at the time were on hand to put our players through their paces, with boss Brian Laws playing for the Home team and his assistant Russ Wilcox doing the honours for the Away side.

POSITION AVAILABILITY

All positions in our 2012 game at Hillsborough have now been secured, however there is always the possibility that a position could become available again due to a cancellation. Therefore we'd advise you to keep an eye on this page for updates, or alternatively Contact Us with details of your name, e-mail address and telephone number if you'd like to be placed on a reserve list.

Event Update: The date for this year's game at Hillsborough has now been confirmed as Wednesday 9th May, with kick-off at 18:00pm.

Legends/Managers: We're delighted to announce that former Club Captain Lee Bullen is the first confirmed Legend for our match at Hillsborough, Lee will be the Home team's Manager. We hope to be able to confirm other Legends/Managers soon.
