CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The first Football Aid game at Carrow Road kicked off on the 17th May 2001 with ex-pros Robert Fleck and Jeremy Goss in defence. Since then fellow Canaries Legends Dale Gordon, Darren Eadie, Peter Mendham. Dave Stringer, Daryl Sutch and Rob Newman have all joined in the fun, while the ever supportive Jeremy Goss came onboard as Ambassador for the Club in 2007. In recent years the club have even been able to provide a bonus for those taking part by organising a dedicated Training Session at the club's Colney Training Centre a few weeks before the match itself. These sessions are normally overseen by Jeremy Goss and have provided an invaluable opportunity for the players to get to know each other in advance of the match at Carrow Road.
