CLUB AMBASSADOR

Ali Mauchlen

Ali Mauchlen joined Leicester City from Motherwell in a double deal - along with fellow Football Aid ambassador Gary McAllister - in 1985 and went on to make 228 league appearances in midfield for the Foxes, establishing himself as a firm fans favourite. Still actively involved with the club, Ali helped set up an Ex-Leicester City Players Association in 2004 and has also represented the club in Masters Football with great success, winning the Grand Final in 2005.

Ali's appointment as an Ambassador follows his regular commitment to Football Aid over the years. Come rain or shine, Ali has embraced his role in the games at the Walkers, whether he's motivating his fellow players on the pitch or Managing from the sidelines in his uniquely passionate manner. A great supporters of the cause, he epitomises what Football Aid is all about - Passion for Football and Compassion for Others.
