Firm fans favourite, Ali made 228 league appearances (+11 as sub) and scored 11 goals during his time with Leicester City.

Ali’s appointment as Ambassador follows his commitment to Football Aid over the past few years. Come rain or shine, Ali has embraced his role as Manager/ Player in the games at the Walkers, shouting encouragement from the pitch and motivating sides to victory through rousing team talks at halftime. Quite simply, he epitomises what Football Aid is all about – Passion for Football and Compassion for Others.
