Two years after our debut event in 2001, the games at Maine Road in 2003 marked an end of an era for City fans, being amongst the last ever to be played at the historic stadium. The following year we made our debut at the magnificent City of Manchester Stadium (now known as the Etihad Stadium) with Mike Summerbee & Fred Ayre (G1) and Peter Barnes & Gary Owen (G2) acting as Managers in our two games that day. Andy Hinchcliffe came onboard as Club Ambassador in 2006 and fellow City Legends Colin Hendry, David White, Ian Brightwell, David Brightwell, Paul Simpson, Mike Sheron, Peter Barnes, Kenny Clements, Andy May, Ian Scott, Neil Pointon, Richard Edgehill, Eric Nixon, Jason Beckford and Mike Doyle (RIP) have all been involved in recent years.
2012 POST EVENT UPDATE
This year's Football Aid matches at The Etihad were a huge success, with all of our teams doing themselves proud in front of their loyal band of enthusiastic supporters, and we'd like to send a massive thank you to City legends Colin Hendry, Richard Edghill and brothers Ian Brightwell and David Brightwell for their fantastic support on the day. For those of you interested in re-living the games there will be full match reports available in our Match Reports section soon.
AVAILABILITY FOR SEASON 2013
