CLUB AMBASSADOR

Andy Hinchcliffe

Formerly of Manchester City, Everton and Sheffield Wednesday. Known for his deadball accuracy and powerful free kicks, Hinchcliffe won the 1995 FA Cup while with Everton and played seven times for England, making his debut along with David Beckham in England's 3-0 away win against Moldova on 1st September 1996.

Andy is now a presenter on Manchester’s radio station, Magic 1152 and writes a column for the Manchester City Official website.

Andy came onboard as Football Aid’s Manchester City Ambassador in January 2006. Part of his role as ambassador sees the tenacious tackling defender playing and managing in the Football Aid games at the City of Manchester Stadium. Last season, he recruited the help of former teammates Ian Brightwell and David White much to the delight of the Football Aid participants.
