CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Like their footballing history, Liverpool FC always host a world-class Football Aid event, largely due to the hard work and support of former club legend; Football Aid Ambassador Brian Hall. For a number of years Brian has embraced his role as Manager in the games at Anfield, shouting encouragement from the sidelines, motivating sides to victory through his rousing team talks and organising a who's who of former players, including fellow Ambassador Gary McAllister, John Aldridge, Alan Kennedy, John Barnes, Jim Beglin, Jan Molby, Jason McAteer, Mark Wright, Phil Neal, David Fairclough, Rob Jones, David Johnson, Michael Thomas and John Durnin to play in our games at Anfield.

2013 POST EVENT UPDATE

This year's Football Aid matches at Anfield were a huge success, with our fans doing themselves proud in front of their loyal band of enthusiastic supporters. We'd also like to send a massive thank you to LFC Llegends Howard Gayle (G1) and Alan Kennedy (G2 & G3) for their fantastic support on the day.

2013 MATCH REPORTS

If you're interested in re-living your game there will be a full match report available in our Match Reports section soon. We only get time to write them up and make them live when all our events are finished, so expect to see them being added to the site around the middle of June or early July.

AVAILABILITY FOR FOOTBALL AID 2014

Buy Now & Sponsored to Play positions are likely to be made available for Football Aid 2014 in late August/early September and this year's players will receive advance notification by e-mail when positions are 1st made available. If you didn't play in 2013 and would like to be notified when we launch positions for next season, make sure and Register on the website or Contact Us to tell us about the games you're interested in.
