Like their footballing history, Liverpool FC have always hosted a world-class Football Aid event, with the lucky fans involved gaining the unique opportunity to get changed in the legendary dressing rooms, walk down the famous old tunnel, perform the emotional ritual of touching the 'This is Anfield' sign, before striding out onto the world famous Anfield turf and playing for The Reds. The fans involved have also had the privilege of playing alongside and being managed by a who's who of former players, with the likes of Alan Kennedy, Jan Molby, John Aldridge, John Barnes, Jim Beglin, Howard Gayle, Gary McAllister, Jason McAteer, Mark Wright, Brian Hall (RIP), Phil Neal, David Fairclough, Rob Jones, David Johnson, Michael Thomas and John Durnin all involved in our games at Anfield over the years.
2015 POST EVENT UPDATE
Due to the stadium renovations at Anfield, this year's Liverpool FC match was played at the club's world famous Liverpool FC Academy. The event was a great success, with all our fans doing themselves proud in front of their enthusiastic supporters, and we'd like to say a massive thank you again to all our players for their excellent support.
2015 MATCH REPORTS
If you're interested in re-living your game there will be a full match report available in our Match Reports section soon. Note: We only get time to write reports and make them live after our events are finished, so it could be July before they appear on the website.
