CHARITY INFORMATION

Since 2004, over £16,500 has been awarded to Everton Football in the Community towards a variety of projects including their coach development programme, focusing on helping female volunteers develop their skills and coaching qualifications to encourage more women and girls to become involved in football.

In addition, CANtreat, whose sole objective is to improve the quality of the treatment environment for all NHS cancer patients, received £3,000 in 2006 which contributed to the total cost of providing a treatment area in the new oncology suite at Leighton Hospital.

While in 2003, the Everton Former Players Foundations received a grant of £2,322 to help alleviate medical concerns of former players and Claire House Children’s Hospice benefited from £1,304 in 2001 towards the cost of physio services.
