CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Bolton Wanderers have been onside with Football Aid from the start, legends Peter Nicholson and John McGinlay leading the way as playing Managers in the first ever game at the Reebok. Since then, they have been joined by Tony Kelly, Paul Jones, Mike Whitlow and former wing wizard David Lee among others.

2008 EVENT CANCELLED

We have to announce with great regret that our Bolton Wanderers game this year has had to be cancelled.

The following statement is from the club by way of explanation - "Due to the need to re-schedule our pitch renovation works, unfortunately it will not be possible for the Club to hold Football Aid’s ‘Live the Dream’ event at the Reebok Stadium this summer.  However, we hope to be able to continue supporting Football Aid in the future and we anticipate being able to invite them back to the Reebok Stadium next summer."
