CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The Premiership giants hosted their first Football Aid event in 2002 with fans flying in from all corners of the globe to pull on the famous red shirt and grace the Old Trafford turf. United Legends Brian McClair and Bryan Robson were onside to thrill the fans with their fancy footwork in that first game, while fellow Legends Lee Martin, Mickey Thomas, David May, Arthur Albiston and Clayton Blackmore have all taken part in our games since. Former Busby Babe and ex-Club Manager Wilf McGuinness became one of the first Football Aid Ambassadors in 2006 and is now a regular feature at our games, shouting his encouragement from the first minute to the last!
