The Eagles were a popular signing for Football Aid in 2002 and the event continues to be highly enjoyable, attracting the support of several club heroes over the years. Steve Kember and Terry Bullivant recreated their management partnership in the 2003 event, while the club's all time appearance record holder Jim Cannon has become a regular in recent years, after pitting his wits against Football Aid Ambassador Dougie Freedman for the 1st time in 2006, while former assistant manager Kit Symons made his debut Managing the Away team in our 2009 event.
SEASON 2013 EVENT UPDATE
We're extremely sorry to have to confirm that all end of season pitch activity at Selhurst Park has been cancelled due to the need for the 1st team to use the pitch in the lead up to the Play-Off Final on the 27th May, and that means that the Football Aid 2013 game has had to be cancelled. All the players involved have been informed of the situation now and all payments for Positions, Guest Tickets and Captain's Armbands will qualify for a full refund, or can be transferred to next season.
