CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Coventry City joined the Football Aid family in 2001, and continued to host events until 2004, when our fans got the chance to say an emotional goodbye to Highfield Road. Legends involved in those early games included David Busst and Craig Shakespeare. Saturday 5th May 2007 was an equally important day for Football Aid, marking the return of the club to the fold and our debut at the magnificent Ricoh Arena. We've been extremely lucky to have had some fantastic legends involved in the matches at the Ricoh Arena recently, with David Busst making a return appearance and Dave Bennett, Tommy Hutchison and Cyrille Regis also all playing.

2010 POST EVENT UPDATE

This year’s event at The Ricoh Arena was a huge success, with both teams doing themselves proud in front of their enthusiastic supporters. We'd like to send a massive thank you Sky Blues legends David Busst and Dave Bennett for their fantastic support on the day. We're still waiting for the club to confirm their participation this season, however all going well we would hope to be able to make positions available for our 2011 match soon.
