CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Coventry City joined the Football Aid family in 2001, and continued to host events until 2004, when our fans got the chance to say an emotional goodbye to Highfield Road. Legends involved in those early games included David Busst and Craig Shakespeare. Saturday 5th May 2007 was an equally important day for Football Aid, marking the return of Coventry City to the fold and our debut at the magnificent Ricoh Arena. Both sides put on a fantastic display in a thriller of a match which eventually saw the Away team - led by Cyrille Regis - prevail with a 4-1 victory over Tommy Hutchison's men.
