EVENT HISTORY & BACKGROUND
We hosted our 1st ever England vs Scotland International match at MK Dons' stadiummk on Tue 10th May 2016. The UEFA Elite classed stadiummk was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 29 November 2007 and has hosted Internationals, England under-21 matches and the FA Women's Cup Final in 2014. The match allowed our fans the chance to experience the extra special atmosphere of the oldest International fixture in the world. With both teams kitted out in official International strips and with over 140 years of national pride at stake, there was plenty of passion on display and an entertaining game finishing 6-1 to the England team. The Auld Enemy clash moved to Everton's Goodison Park in 2017 and featured former Internationals David Unsworth as Manager and Kevin Gallacher as Playing Legend. This time it was the Scotland team who came out on top 5-3, so the scores are nicely poised at 1 x game apiece ahead of our next game!
