Football Aid were delighted to sign up Stoke City in 2011, with the club making its debut on Wed 26th May. We were given an extremely warm welcome by the oldest club in the Premier League and were delighted they had chosen to join the Football Aid family. The Potters fans have a reputation as being the noisiest in the land and they didn't disappoint on the night, creating a terrific atmosphere at the Britannia Stadium. Thanks to the excellent support of the Stoke City Community Trust we've been privileged to have the support of club legends Denis Smith, Carl Beeston, Wayne Biggins, Andy Cooke, Philip Heath, Amdy Faye, Mike McDonald, Carl Dickinson, Wayne Thomas and Andy Griffin in our games.
2015 POST EVENT UPDATE
This year's match at The Britannia was a great success, with all our Potters fans doing themselves proud in front of their enthusiastic supporters. We were extremely fortunate to have SCFC Legends Terry Conroy, John Ruggiero and Andy Griffin on hand to demonstrate their expert experience and we'd like to say a massive thank you again for their excellent support.
